1. Most everyone will recommend a book or two to read, but are there any you would tell people to avoid?

Uncommon Reason
Colin D. Mallard

Absolute crap writing and very speechy and preachy.

2. If you take a book on vacation, are you more likely to take something you haven't read yet or an old favourite? Something new and would not care if got lost. Personally I would rather take a paper journal on a trip.

3. Do you read any genres by the season? Like horror around Halloween? Cozy Mysteries in the Winter? Romance in the Summer?

Not really. I do think certain works fit certain times of the year. I do not do it on purpose. It is lovely when a book just fits the temperature or tone of the time of year at which I have read it.

4. If you read a lot of Fiction do you prefer an author that has a series with the same character(s), or do you prefer stand-alone stories?

Not much of series reader. Stand alone is great.

5. Is there a book that you wish you could read again, but experience it like it was the first time?

The God of Small Things  by Arundhati Roy. Followed closely by The Polished Hoe by Austin Clarke
