On the mend

Slept well. Slept in which was great. I believe sleep is a great thing and when you need to heal it is super vital. I wasn't pain when I woke up. I had graduated to a fat upper lip. The bright red scapes have started to fade. Oh believe me the scrapes are still very noticeable. Strangely the thing that is annoying me is the scrapes on my knees. They have started to scab over and are itchy as hell.

We got take out from our sushi guy. It seemed like something I could eat. I mostly just had sashimi and a few pieces of negi toro maki roll, gomae and the daikon and carrot and cucumber bed that the sashimi comes on.

I am starting to feel the jarring of my body from the fall and have taken a muscle relaxant just about 20 minutes ago so it will have time to start working before I go to bed.

I took the daily walk off my list today. Will get back to that tomorrow.

We started watching a French program called Marianne One of a Kind. Quite enjoyable. I love sassy characters with loads of good heartedness.

We were wondering what we would watch after we finished the Monk series. We worked our way through the final season of Young Sheldon. We are now halfway through the first season of Psych which good fun. There is 8 seasons of that show so we should be good for some time.

24. Have you ever owned a small, caged pet (hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, rabbit)?

I had a gold fish once. The bowl was a cage of sorts. My second roommate and I babysat a rabbit (named Hoser-it was the 80's) for several weeks.

When my dad died he had a bird. I was going to take the bird (I am not sure how that came to be a thing) and the bird flew away before I could ever take it home with me.
