job coach & plenty of love
I work better with coaches and mentors, someone to guide me through a process the first time I do it.
Lucky for me, my mom saw something in our church bulletin about a program the church offers members looking for work. So I called, sent an email to follow up, and this morning I had my first meeting with my new job coach! I like him, and I like how the program is structured. I'll meet him next week to get started in the program officially.

Last night's Hanson concert was totally, totally stellar! I loved it better than last year's concert, which was pretty darn awesome. They sang a bunch of my favorite songs ("Kiss Me When You Come Home" and "Hey" among them), some of their Middle of Nowhere songs ("Where's the Love," "MmmBop," and "Man From Milwaukee"--the last of which is apparently rare to hear in concert), and were energetic and fun and hilarious. Loved the concert.
Afterward, I went to iHop with eastfarthing, C, M, and her daughter. We ate delicious food and were ridiculously high on happiness.
It was a good night.
