Scratch #638 off my list of things I've never seen before.
Mid-afternoon, while cleaning the curtains in the living room, I notice an unfamiliar truck parking across the street. No big deal, and I go back to business. Then, from the truck, four Hispanic men emerge, dressed in black. And they all have acoustic guitars. Apparently they're arriving early for a reenactment of a mariachi showdown from a Robert Rodriguez film.
[I'd like to add that I only mentioned they were Hispanic because they were. It has nothing to do with "race". If it did, given that I'm about a quarter Spaniard, that'd be a bit of pot-kettle. They could have been four cows emerging from the truck and I'd have called them cows. And that would have been #875 on my list.]
