Dinner [locked to beck__]
It had been some day at work. Her latest piece had to be rewritten, because as Sam had put it, "it just wasn't her best work." And so, she had spent the majority of the afternoon doing that. Stopping by the store on the way home, she picked up what she needed for dinner, and headed straight to the house.
After making sure that things were settled in the kitchen, Lily went to her bedroom to get ready. Choosing a pair of blue jeans, and a blue striped halter, she took a quick shower before getting dressed. She pulled part of her hair back with bobby pins, and didn't put on much makeup.
She had just put the cake in the oven, and was starting to set the table when the doorbell rang. "It's open!" She shouted, with a stack of plates and silverware in her hand that prevented her from walking over to the door.
