LJ tells me it's been nine weeks since I updated.  Oops.  Since then, I've flown to Seattle, to go to DMB concerts at the Gorge.  I've driven to Gainesville and WPB for more DMB.  I've finished up the purchases of my taping rig.  I've done some other stuff, but I don't have time to get into it now.

Listening to my WPB N1 tape again... the screams of "DO IT!" right after Last Stop are absolutely annoying.  Repeated screams.  From the deep-voiced guys that Dave talked about one time during a D&T show. I'm back from a five-day road trip around the state that included 3 DMB concerts and many visits with friends and family.  Many interesting stories.  Hopefully I'll post some here.  I also need to work on converting my tapes from the concerts.  If I don't get to that in the next few days, the natives will get restless ( Read more... )

I can't get "Sweet Caroline" out of my head.  I told a Red Sox fan at work about it.  And now I'm listening to it again.  And probably will listen to it many more times over the next three weeks.

First of all, I'm somewhat amazed that I'm able to type this entry right now. I don't think I ever thought I'd still be using this laptop, which I've now had for eight years. So DMB tourdates are finally out.  FINALLY.  I can't combine any concerts with the trip I'm taking to Indiana in June, unless I want to stay up there for a full week (which I don't), because they play Deer Creek the weekend before the wedding.  So that's out.  Once my vacation request is approved, I can go ahead and buy that plane ticket.  SPAC is ( Read more... )
