Important Update About The Community
Hi everyone, as most of you are aware, Livejournal is a Russian operated site and there were worries of us losing LJ a few weeks back with the current global situation.
Before this however, the mods have already started discussing if we should consider moving news-jpop over to other alternative sites. The scare sped up our discussion, and it was definitely not an easy decision to make, considering the long history that NJP has here. After lots of discussions and tests to import entries (and finally having success at importing most of the content over), we’ve decided to move this community over to Dreamwidth. Dreamwidth is a site that’s similar to LJ, so we feel and hope it will be a good place to house the community in. As with the current LJ community, posts containing media etc. will be locked, but membership will be left open, so please feel free to create a DW account and join us at our new DW community here.
While we will not continue to update this community, we will continue to leave this here for as long as LJ is alive. However, posting access for members will be switched off, so please post to the DW community from this point onwards. Posts on the DW version of news-jpop can be linked to LJ entries, as long as it keeps to the community guidelines on locked posts.
