A quick note about the community
Hi everyone,
As some of you may have been aware of, LJ is a Russian owned site. The current global situation has led to news reports saying that Russia may be cutting itself off from the global internet in a few days, which means we may lose access to LJ if that happens.
news-jpop has been on LJ for many, many years, with a lot of content that has been accumulated over its history. We’re looking at options to see if there’s any way of backing this up somewhere. We don’t have any concrete answers yet, but we do hope to be able to move, or at the very least, rebuild the community elsewhere if we do lose LJ.
In the event that we stop having access to LJ before we have a back up community, please head over to KoyaShigeDaily on twitter for updates on where we will be. Otherwise, we’ll be continuing to update here while we have access. This is really just a note to stay in touch IF something happens.
