In other news, Vintage Hair Project Day 2 has so far resulted in the revelation that mousse and a little hairspray is much better for styling than using Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious Creme, the spray-on tonic and two tons of hairspray.
Also, so I'm doing research on GINA, which is a national law that just went into effect that prohibits employers and health insurers from discriminating against individuals based on the results of genetic testing. So, for instance, if you test positive for the BRCA breast cancer gene, your HMO can't raise your premiums or your employer can't fire you because covering treatment would be too expensive. It passed unanimously in the Senate, and almost unanimously in the House. The single dissenting vote?
