This article makes me happy in ways I can't entirely articulate.
The more I listen to Neko Case, the more brilliant I realize she is. I want to write books like her albums: dark and complicated and crystalline in their strangeness. lindensphinx was proposing lyrics icons, which would be amazing; I also want icons of this man's art. I want him to illustrate the books I'm writing. (His theory of creativity is very much like hers [more] and mine.)
I'm realizing that I'm actually really happy with a lot of things about my life -- they just don't have anything to do with money and careers.
For a start, I have wonderful friends. ♥
