I think we're due for some serious storming later today. It's cool and pretty windy here, so much so that I'm actually wondering whether it would be a good idea to go riding along the lake or not.
Ahhhh, today there is tendonitis not only in my hands but in one elbow -- but it's worth it, dagnabbit! Wow. Just, I was in total overtime last night with ye olde RP. All of it was very satisfying, but every thread was so different, there was a lot of whiplash going on between windows.
--oh. I keep thinking I ought to say this, so! May as well go for it now. I cannot multitask to save my life when there's writing and storytelling around. If I have more than two threads going on, I have to limit them to two characters. (Last night I had four!) If more than two people IM me while I'm trying to get these done? I start drowning almost immediately. So, if I lag or disappear or am slow in responding, it's not because I'm bored with you or anything like that -- it's because I am not so good with overstimulation, and because too much of a good thing is still too much.
(Seriously, though. Last night was filled with exceptional awesome -- and it will only continue tonight! Muahaha!)
Speaking of exceptional awesome -- of which I am the inverse, in this matter -- it turns out I did receive my fic for
apocalyptothon! And lo, it was wonderful.
kellifer_fic wrote me Josh Lyman and the NSC card in
"The Last BBQ". Go read it. There's something about the voice she captures that just does things to the way I breathe.
