Down with eyes romantic and stupid / Down with sighs and down with Cupid!
I spent a lot of today thinking about how different it's going to be at the end of the month. October can still be quite hot, but September, man. We're not screwing around anymore.
Spent a lot of today fuming over some pretty stupid work stuff that wound up getting as resolved as it could be. Found out one of my favorite editors is leaving us on Thursday, but she'll be working only a block away, so she's promised we'll still get lunch. Also found out last night that I'm going to need to hire another copy editor, and fast. Ugh.
Keep wanting to write, both fic and original stuff. Keep trying to get in and just do it, but somehow not there yet. At this very moment I'm idly updating my OKC profile while also writing fic meme fills (here are two for Black Widow and the Jarvises). Would like to get more use out of OKC too, I guess?
Dr. Martens is doing this new series of leathers in this gorgeous oil-slick sheen. I am not allowed, I have so many Docs.
Ugh, I just wanted to write something, but the things I really want to write about are too... volatile? Maybe? If you're reading this, I probably miss you. Hi.
On the plus side, I looked really freaking great today. \o/
