Is it Yuletide yet? How about now?
Dear Yuletide Author:
Hi! I want to establish one ground rule: you are made of WIN. Thank you thank you thank you for volunteering to write one of these fandoms-of-my-heart. I can't wait to see what kind of fun you have with the prompts!
My letter from last year has some good guidelines as far as things I like in stories. If you feel like turning any of these prompts into an end-of-the-world story, I'm A-OK with that. (The Hollow Crown RPF is the only one I'm interested in porn or smut for, if that's all right.)

The Hollow Crown RPF
Joe Armstrong. Michelle Dockery. Harry and Kate Percy. As one Tumblr user put it, their chemistry is RIDONK. I don't understand anyone who's not utterly undone by their eye contact during the "Hear the lady sing in Welsh" scene.
I want more of them. I want filming, rehearsals, post-The Hollow Crown, AUs, porn, accidental time-travel into the story they're filming, anything that gives me more of that RIDONK chemistry (especially if there are FEELINGS involved).
Dockery is absolutely a star on the rise and has done a lot of interviews, but Joe is super private. The place where you can learn anything that's available to learn is joe-armstrong.net. (The Hollow Crown hi-res promo pics are also a gold mine.) A little more has been coming out lately, though: his dad says he's "gregarious and moody"; he just did a radio play where he worried and worried and worried about his performance and then did a killer job; and, my favorite thing of all, Michelle just called him "great," "gorgeous" and "brilliant" as Hotspur. He's doing a lot of stage and voice work these days, it looks like, which is really cool.
I love stories that are about the two of them in their own little world, but I also love love love ensemble pieces, so feel free to bring in other people connected with The Hollow Crown or Downton Abbey or what have you, so long as the focus is the two of them having (and acting on? :-D?) not-entirely-professional feelings about each other.

Sixty Miles an Hour
There's nothing I don't want to know about the characters here. How did the scientist decide to don the bear suit? What's that like before he drives off into the wilderness? What are the hitchhiker's feelings about the encounter? What else (or who else) does the park ranger find in the preserve? What's so magical about having excellent rhythm? Is the outside world even like our own, or is everyone in this video fleeing a dystopia that has no place for them?

Miniatur Wunderland
Please get as wild and meta as you want with this. Who builds these things? Who thinks them up? What happens in the models when no one is watching? What do the tourists experience? Why is the narrator of the video so smarmily excited? Who takes these jobs? Why do we go to see the Miniatur Wunderland? What is the end goal of a gigantic model train world? What does the Miniatur Wunderland MEAN?????

Bloom County
It might be the most obvious prompt in the world, but I want to see how Bloom County has weathered the decades since Berke Breathed set down his pen. Good God, the Nineties must have been bad enough -- what about the present? How does social media change everything? What are the insights available about politics and culture today? How are Billy and the Boingers doing? And... does anyone actually age?
Straight-up pastiche or AUs or breaking-the-world/form are all welcome. As are basset hounds, basselopes and authorial intrusions.
