So,
cymbelinefanfiction exists. The masterlist is short, but it also exists.

Ugh, all I want to do is make it to Thursday night. So much fiction I want to write, so much schoolwork that takes precedence instead...

A few more links, from my to-read/consume list:
  • Sir Orfeo, a medieval poem about Orpheus and Eurydice
*Side note: if you like the Orpheus and Eurydice story, and also Kate and Harry Percy, I wrote this short thing recently.
  • How the Back-Room Shakespeare Project Gave Up on Theater-And Revived It
  • The Life (and Death?) of the Party from Texas Monthly, about Wendy Davis and the Castro brothers
  • Alanis Morissette actually made ironic
  • Your first salary negotiation
  • The Faces that Made the Bomb, a look at the staff at Los Alamos during WWII
  • The university down the block: "From housing to assembly-line burritos, higher ed’s bread-and-butter impact on a neighborhood’s economic health," interesting because UofC has done (and, arguably, continues to do) some pretty dastardly things in the past to Hyde Park and Kenwood
  • Ira Glass on why This American Life is thriving as a business
  • Design Matters on how the Roman Empire started branding
  • How to wash the bad taste of The Lone Ranger out of your mouth, with an all-Native-produced/acted/directed short film
  • Malcolm Cowley on the Four Stages of Writing: Lessons from the First Five Years of The Paris Review
