survived Maidens on not a lot of sleep, not a lot of food, but a fair amount of adrenaline and too much caffeine.
and it was good.
and then I got things together and came to Quincy for some time with
aztecknight . This week I am working on a dress I started about a year and a half ago at Griffin's Needle. It's been sitting in a box, waiting. So, I'm stitching the outer together by hand tonight, and then tomorrow will hopefully get the lining and interlining put together on the machine. Then I can put in the lacing rings, apply the trimmy bits, make up some sleeves, and cartridge pleat the skirt on. Should all be doable this week, given the state of it when I picked it up today. The skirt is all made up and ready, the bodice outer is cut out (and now half assembled), and it won't take too much to deal with the rest. Maybe I can get the boy to help me mark the hem... or next Tuesday at meeting I'll talk a friend into it.
So hopefully I'll have a new dress within a couple weeks. YAY!
