progress!
The handstitching is done.
The pieces are all cut for the lining and interlining.
Now I'm about to machine those layers, double-check the fit in the bodice, and then sandwich the layers happily together.
And if all goes well, tonight at practice I'll either be adding the trimmy bits to the bodice, or attaching the skirt. Probably the former, because it's more portable, but possibly the latter, because the practice area is heated only by a space-heater, and it's cold! I might want the lap full of wooly goodness.
Also, laundry is underway.
And it looks like there might be three fighter practices in my life this week (!!). Ivory Keep tonight, Lochmorrow Wednesday, and possibly (hopefully!) Swordcliff on Thursday. That's sheer and utter madness, but every once in a while that's fun. And I can hand-stitch anywhere!
So, even if I'm missing the Shattered Crystal practice/meeting tonight, I think I will more than make up for it SCA-wise.
