So I hope to get to 165 by the end of this week but my period is coming so that means extra weight, that sucks, its like just having the period wasnt bad enough you have to gain weight to.

FAILURE

"The major difference between average people and achieving people is their perception of and response to failure"

Wrong repsonses to failure:
Blow up (get mad at others, cast blame, self hate)
Cover up (if you're upset you may cut, or purge, etc)
Speed up (don't think about it, pretend it's not there)
Back up (retreat, cry, etc)
Give up (binge more, stop trying, throw your hands up)
Mess up (blame, guilt)

Right responses:
Wake up (to your problem, that's the first step)
Break up (with any rival love, in our case, junk food, calories, etc)
Take up (responsibility)
Make up (your mind...focus on what you want)

Things to realize:
Failing is inevitable
Failing is essential to life and everyday growth
Failing keeps us human
Failing helps us become more understanding of other's shortcomings

"Life at any time can become difficult; life at any time can become easy: It all depends upon how one adjusts oneself to life"

You can always think positive just as well as you can think negative. Girls, it's not the size of your failure, it's the size of your response. We can all achieve our goals. I believe in each and every one of you. I know you can do it! Just be positive and respond to your failure in the right way, because we all know we fail sometimes. We just need to respond to it better. Always seek to learn from your failures. And remember, you are not the only one who fails...everyone does. We are all here for you! Failure is simply a price we have to pay to achieve success. Sucess is not a destination, it's a journey. What is your definition of failure:

Failure is avoidable- you navigate life in such a way as to be "exempt" from mistakes

Failure is an event- comes and goes in a moment, not connected to your life as a whole

Failure is objective- there is one right and wrong way to percieve the events in your life

Failure is your enemy-to be avoided at all costs

Failuer is irreversible-once it's happened there is no reversing it in any way

Failure is a stigma-once you've failed people have labeled you as a failure

Failure is final-there is no hope of going forward

The "price tag" of success is an integral part of failure. Here are 5 elements that are essential to the price you pay for success:

1.Sacrafice
2.Discipline
3.Effort
4.Change
5.Passion

If you are not making mistakes, you are not "in the game." Many people dream of success (goal weight, whatever it may be, happiness, etc.). Success can only be achieved through repeated failure and introspection. In fact, success represents 1% of your work, which results from the 99% that is called failure. Say goodbye to yesterday. Get up, dust your knees off, and keep going. Virtually nothing comes out right the first time. Failures are mearly road stops on the road to achievement. For every failure, there's an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour! Work on the weaknesses that weaken you. I feel that the most important requirement in success is learning to overcome failure. You must learn to TOLERATE IT, but NEVER ACCEPT IT. Make a list of what makes you "throw in the towel". Is it too much work? takes too long? no one encourages you? too much resistance from others? ideas aren't working? stress? physical pain? sacrafice? Now make a list of the motivators that keep you going. Is it progress? encouragement? help from others? belief in yourself? the challenge? the dream or cause itself? If you're not failing now and again, it's a sure sign you're not doing anything very innovative. Get up, get over it, and get going. Good luck girls!! Luv and hugs...
