I saw Garden State again last night. Jim, Jess, Laura Keller, Pam, and I went. I got in for free, because I had no cash and the computer was frozen so they couldn't take my credit card. For the record: it was just as good the 3rd time as it was the other 2.
Today, Pam and I went into the city. We wandered around, shopped at the Gap (I saw Caitlin Meaney...how random is that?), and hung out at Bryant Park. Then we met up with Pam's friend Jen and her roommate and their friend. We took the subway to Brooklyn and ate dinner. The place where we ate had the greatest chocolate cake I've ever eaten. As Old Man Winter would say, "Best". Then we went back into Manhattan and Pam's friends left and we wandered again. Then we came back here and had a really boring night. Considering how tired I was, I'm surprised I'm up and writing this.
I'm coming home next weekend. Anyone who reads this and wants to see me better comment!
Breathe not a word of this
Quiet, quiet confidence
The time has come to face this
We all must bear witness
Roll over, roll over and over and over again
And another lovely pacifist dying in the sun
I will not watch this, I will not watch this all come down....
