presidential stuff -- a mormon?! oh noes

Romney started his day on a sour note, when a restaurant patron declared he would not vote for him because of his faith.

"I'm one person who will not vote for a Mormon," Al Michaud of Dover shouted at Romney when he approached him inside Harvey's Bakery in downtown Dover.

Romney kept smiling as he asked, "Can I shake your hand anyway?"

Michaud replied, "No." ... Michaud said he was a liberal who planned to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., should she win her party's nomination.
That's a bit harsh, don't you think? (Like people refusing to vote for -- who was it, JFK? -- because he was Catholic.) Religion isn't supposed to enter our government anyway. And even if his Mormon beliefs affect his decisions, he is still holds many Christian beliefs; I don't think the Mormon belief of becoming a god and ruling a planet could adversely affect a presidency ...

People are silly. Economists meet to quantify happiness? Wouldn't a philosopher or psychologist be better suited for that than an economist? "Our findings indicate that for true happiness, an ideal APR of 12% in involved with a GDP no less than 5.4 billion..."
