i just bought the new patent pending cd at best buy - the best buy michael ragosta used to work at, in fact. it came out nationwide on the 6th. while i was there, i saw someone else buy it. i ripped off the cellophane in the car and opened it up. i get thanked in the liner notes, and my band gets shouted out in the bands section.
through all the stupid shows together, all the terrible venues, all the fights with the castle golf staff, all the cheap assholes at molly blooms, all the sports plus successes and all the crowd surfing in a church, someone i know made it, and, through it all, they remembered me and my contribution.
i feel some kind of completion right now.
i am so happy for those guys; no one could deserve it more.
