I hope everyone had a great holiday!
I usually send out cards to all of my lj friends who I have addresses for and I'm sorry that I wasn't able to this year. It was difficult enough getting out to buy a few things for my family.
This Christmas was thoroughly enjoyable. I went to my uncle Matt's house for Christmas eve and we went over to their long time friends Tom and Sylvia's house for a dinner party. I had many great conversations. Very little food but went we got back to my uncle's house I ate more. They had so much food for me.
This morning we had my favorite dish potato mush. So yummy. I ate some plain and some on an english muffin with cheese. So good. I got a haul of food and gifts from them. He dropped me off at my grandmama's house around 2:00 today. We all chit chatted for a long time and grandmama and I knitted. Then when uncle Matt left we opened our gifts there. It was a good Christmas for everyone.
Now I just need to see Linda and Lisa. That's all I was able to do this year.
I got a Wii and the game Just Dance from my mom.
A wonderful piece of luggage, socks, matching sake and sushi set, panda bear statue, panda pillow, swizzle sticks and cocktail squids, Japanese stamp set, and a lot of other micsolanious items from my aunt and uncle.
My grandmama made me a beautiful quilt and pillow. She got me a rolling pin along with the rolling pin cover and drop cloth, and a snow white figurine (not Disney.)
Paul got me The Book Thief.
