Hello, I am a new member. I wanted to share a bit of something interesting with you all that is related to Kingdom Hearts 2, and since you said any debate is all right, then I am putting it up. I will tag it the best way I can, as well since I know that this has been a problem for you ( Read more... )

Actually, I have the visual version of this I screencapped and put together in Photoshop. (This is not the original version made by the Ansem Report, but one I did purely by myself) Since I don't want to kill anyone's modem I'll link to the image -

The Deep Dive Map

Now then, 5 and 6 are connected to the full set via 8. The spilt paths at 8 can represent Axel as the traitor, the one of the breaks in the Organiazation. (As you'll see, I've focused mainly on the Org Interpretation of the map) 6 is also the home to the words [Thirteenth Order] as the original number of members was six. Metamorphosis and Change as the words for 5 and 6 can apply to a number of events within the series - The process of becoming a Nobody, the merger of Nobody and Other, and Riku's physical and spiritual metaphrosis (to me, he is "The Third Key")

Now, the other major forking comes at 11, Marluxia, and given that it splits 4 ways may represent the way characters split from Oblivion (the top, 12, representing the enterance, and the others being Sora (4), Riku (9), and Namine in the stead of Kairi (10)). However, the only significant connections, Org-wise, seem to be to 12, Larxene, and 4, Vexen.

Also interesting are the numbers which are not connected - 13, Roxas, and 1, Xemnas. Of course, 1 doesn't show up anywhere (and I'm sorry that I did not include the number 2 over "We'll go together.") which is interesting since he does appear in Final Mix. Now, 13 is of interest since the question of "Where's Sora?" could be his. Also the statment "We must find him." is written in Japanese with no indication of first-person plural so it could be read as "I must find him."

Some other random observations - 3, Paradise, is more of the reuniting of the trio than a place to me. It bares similiarities to 2 being the line shared between Sora and Riku before they leave the Beach that Never Was. 8 with "The Third Enemy" is particularly interesting as to us there are only two kinds of enemies - Heartless and Nobodies. What could the third be? Perhaps the ones who are whole?

I really hope that more people put in their opinions!

What a pity that I didn't have that image! There are, in fact, a 5 and a 6. Well, that sort of throws my theory out of the water. But I enjoy your's moreover. Thanks for replying.

Well, I completely encourage you to find new theories within in the map. I'm sure that there are things that I may have missed and there are plenty of ways to interpret it. ^_^

In the end of KH2.... I remember a comment about 'keyblade war'.... Other keyblade bearers, who would be--as you commented--'ones who are whole', could be this Third Enemy, right?

Ah! I didn't think about the implications of the Keyblade war. Since that came first, followed by Heartless as the 2nd Enemy and then Nobodies and the 3rd, it makes a great deal of sense. Thanks a bunch for that insight. ^_^
