So yeah today is my birthday, and I’m on my way to a dinner party with my family. I was going to talk about Meteor in FF7 and how it reminds me of Judgment Day at your community. Hope that topic sounds interesting. ;)
I agree, he probably didn't leave at all. It is pretty safe to say that Heidegger had a feeling that Rufus was still alive, seeing as how he has a really tough guy reputation. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Heidegger wasn't killed, and Rufus came back to work. :P
To be honest, I won't be surprised if Heidegger thought he was the new president when Rufus' father was killed. He probably forgot all about Rufus, seeing as how his dad probably never really mentioned him, much. Or even at all. So I can see why Heidegger was in a rush to take the position as president after Rufus' incident.
Even though Rufus is the president, I always considered him a member of The Turks in a way. As you said, he did lead them in BC. With friends like that, I'm sure his company will be up and running like before. :)
Yeah I am very excited about my Rufus essay. It's going to be awesome. I still support the idea of Rufus surviving without any crippling injuries, but I have something else to prove about the wheelchair. You'll like it, I know you will. ;) I can't wait to read your new one as well. Your first one was the best!
