Where: Slums, near to Northswain's Glow's base.
When: Friday 19th October, mid-morning.
Notes: Say hi to Ashe! :D Go pester her, she needs someone else to know than Balthier.
Even if she'd made an effort to dress down and look in place, it seemed her standards of dressing seemed to rub off on her - Ashe's clothes were

I've really gotta stop grabbing people like that. Everyone in this town's always waitin' for someone to kill them, or something! Misato forced a rather nervous smile at the younger woman, and with her free hand pointed downwards right in front of her feet. "Wet concrete."
Sure enough, there were a few patches of yet-to-dry concrete, and it wasn't really too surprising that no one had bothered to string up some ribbon to keep the unsuspecting or absent-minded walker from sinking their feet right into the stuff, especially considering the area of town it was.
Attempting a wider grin and hoping it was friendly enough for certain arms to be lowered, Misato went on cheerfully, "Step in that stuff and you'll never get it off your shoes, y'know?"

"Are you lost or something, sweetie?" she asked then, raising her eyebrows slightly, "I mean no offense but people don't usually come to this area unless, uuh... well you just kinda look like you're lost." And you know, this is the best place for drug deals, kidnappings, and then of course there are the unfortunate ones who have to actually live here.

"Out of place is one word for it... but hey, a girl's gotta look pretty," she winked, seeming nonchalant even as she curiously tried to piece together why a girl with such formal clothing, speech and posture was doing 'on business' in the slums ...oh, and with a sword. Not forgetting the sword.
Normally this would've been the part where she gave a rushed 'good day' and went about her business, but something in Misato's gut urged her that leaving that girl around here alone wouldn't be good for her health. Taking care of Shinji really is turning you into a bit of a mother hen. Sheesh...

She found her eyes travelling down to Asche's ring as well, a curious look crossing her face as she wondered if the girl might be married or something, watching the way her eyes looked upon the jewellery. "... heh, sorry, I meant to say, I'm Misato. You got a name, hon?"

Misato quickly stopped herself before she let her mouth blab on, rubbing a hand into her hair slowly and feeling a little idiotic for standing around talking and probably keeping Ashe from whatever 'business' she needed to attend. I don't usually just stop and talk to strangers like this, either... hm, must be in the mood for company, I suppose.
"So uh... don't mean to pry, Ashe, but what's a girl like you doing on business around here?" still tugging absently at her hair, between her knuckles, "It's not the safest place to be around, especially since that last... zombie-attack thing totalled this

She swiftly moved on to the next thing Misato had mentioned by blinking a few times, and saying sternly, "Zombies." Not in disbelief - as if in comfirmation of something she'd heard before. She hadn't been around for the zombie attack, and only had the accounts of the rest of the Tatakai to go on - which were usually far fetched - and that of the government, but of course, that had been covered up swiftly. To hear it from someone else? She really did need to get out more beyond high-class social occasions. "It may not be the safest haven here, but it's where my duties lie - beyond that, I'm afraid, Misato," she offered a slightly apolegetic and secretive smile. "I cannot inform you."
