Bake Sale (event)
Who: Anyone & Everyone
Where: Town Centre. Some baker's shop.
When: 20th March, 5:30pm
Notes: I feel bad from seemingly spamming this place with logs, so decided after much thought to do an event. Truth be told, it's been in my head for a while. A somewhat *sane* event, for a change, I suppose. Anyway, long story short, some random bakery is have a sale. And a cake-baking contest as well. Go mingle with everyday people, dudes. XD
The smell of freshly cooked bread and pastries surrounded the air of the town centre, sending mass crowds flocking to the small Bakers' shop in a usually ignored corner of shops. The owner was stood inside, rushing around, filing orders and giving out samples, whilst several assistants helped outside. Children, too, were enjoying the amount of free food, having just had a long day at school, and going shopping, found their efforts were rewarded - some of the younger ones had taken to snatching as much cake as they could, stuffing it in the mouths and smiling admidst chocolate mustaches. Adults too, also appreciated the scenario, having a hard and somewhat tiring day at work, to have a little sweet pastry to settle their appetite.
Something else that was somewhat interesting, was a large crowd gathered around several tables laid out across the way from the shop - several bakers were hanging around, some decorating the area, some laying out ingredients, and the lead baker telling the public about a cake baking contest taking place, which anyone could enter.
