Ghost Town [major event]
Who: Everyone.
Where: City streets.
When: Monday, 15th January, 10am.
Notes: The kick-starting of the new plot for the new year, since everyone wanted plot-heavy. To clarify the event; everyone in the city has disappeared; that is, everyone except for the taken characters. So everyone wakes up in the morning (regardless of when they went to sleep last night) and the city is devoid of all life, the only living beings around being the other taken characters. Comments are mandatory for at least one of your characters, plz, as this affects all the characters directly.
There was something deathly unnatural about the city streets, in the way that everything seemed to be simply standing still. There wasn't a person on the streets anywhere, all the businesses that should've been opening up were closed. To put it simply, the city looked like a ghost town, like tumbleweed should've been blowing through the streets. It was utterly barren of activity, from the tallest skyscraper through to the houses on the very outskirts of the city; no living thing was in sight, animal or man.
Aside from the profound lack of people, the day seemed like a perfectly normal one. The artificial sun shone high in the partially cloudy sky, there was a gentle breeze blowing through the city, and even such mundane devices like clocks and machinery seemed unaffected. It was as though all the people had simply disappeared overnight.
