the world is flat
the night drips over me
stars growing brighter
leading me to the edge of the world
i saw the edge of the world
i saw it
dont let them lie to you
the earth is most definitely flat
and were sliding closer to its end
buy a spaceship from me
i can cut you a good deal
the night drips over me
the night will swallow you too
very soon now
both its beauty and its loneliness
i fight each individual fear
there is no longer altitude
no longer depth
only memories and regrets
each of my decisions are analyzed
each one of them found empty
the night drips over me
i can finally fly
and where will i go
to the center of this square
staying away from the edge
straying away from the truth
the lies they feed us
support our own pride
a foolproof system of self-destruction
waterfalls fuel the sky's blue
cycles until the last raindrop
the night sky drips over me
flushing science out of my head
the boundaries are begging to be crossed
though grave consequences would ensue
the temptation to break the world in half
is burning in my mind as if it were possible
were all powerless without gravity
arent we
either way the earth can get no flatter
the night sky drips over me
a contagious obsession with darkness
has led me to sinister schemes
columbus didnt sail far enough
to discover what i know
but i would fall forever
just to tell you the world is flat
its boring and bland and worthless
without you
