Why wear a bra?
The weather this week has been fantastic high twenties all week. Which has lead to everyone around campus dressing for the weather.
Which leads me to a clothing question namely, why wear a bra?
Now don't get me wrong I know why you actually wear them my wife is "large" breasted large of course being realitive to the body of the individual.
What I mean is why wear them when it is wholely inappropriate fashion wise and you don't need it body wise.
Take my class for example, it is highly diverse we have people from all over the world, from all ages, and all body types.
But in class right now we have a young lady wearing a backless black top with a bright pink bra, a lass in a cross strap tank top with a bra with visible straps, and a girl in a translucent white top with fully visible bra.
Now obviously one of these ladies needs her bra for modesty reasons as well she is fully in her right by law to wear nothing under that top it is still not the general norm for exposure of the female breast in every day apparel.
But that case aside why wear the bra none of these three need a bra for structural reasons and in the case of the pink bra it looks trashy.
I ask as a bra is not underwear, it is not a case like my kilt where people wonder if I am regimental which is really impractical and rather disgusting when you think about it as my kilt never stays under my ass when sitting. I say this as until a certain cup size there is very little practical reasons for wearing a bra (and several fun reasons not too) with some garments yet I still see bra straps abound.
