By far, the most cursed, tortured soul in the bible...
Living to a ripe ol' age of 110, my personal award for most tortured, discomfited soul absolutely has to go to Moses.
Unfortunately, this tortured soul also seems to have written Genesis, which is why the god of Eden seems to be someone who makes decisions and has the foresight of someone who has literally, only been on the job for a week.
Why this several-times condemned man who's god behavior, atrocity-for-atrocity is quite comparable with Hitler, would be expected to write the foundation for faith, trust and belief in an entity who is difficult enough to believe in as is, is beyond me. I'm not sure if Moses is considered a prophet or not, but if he is, he'd be the False Prophet, since I can't seem to see any uttered prophecy (Predictions of future events,conditional or otherwise) in writings attributed to him.
However, in my ever so humble opinion, this 110 year old man suffered much more than Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, Jesus, holocaust victim, me, you, or anybody else under the sun in gross injustices and mental cruelties heaped upon him. Perhaps, given the perversions of modern fundamentalist movements, even non-gentiles might want to begin calling into reasonable doubt, his fitness for writing such fundamental books such as Genesis, while there's still a cohesive voice and media resources available to do it...
