So the kitten hath been christened.

So I took the little dude to the Vet on Monday.  Prognosis?  Pretty good, especially since he's been living in the woods for at least 2 weeks.  He's eight weeks old, meaning he's been on his own since he was 6 weeks, at the minimum.

So Erasmus and Mohinder seem to be not well.  I know that Erasmus has a swimbladder problem, though I couldn't tell you why it reared it's ugly head now, and I think Mohinder's suffering from the same thing.  Argh.  So I have two sick fish (It's not contagious, thank God) and no idea how to help them ( Read more... )

So in my shubunkin/koi tank, I have two plecos named Hawkeye and Trapper (Yeah, I like M*A*S*H).  Now, Trapper is the normal pleco that patiently waits for the algae wafers and then hunts them all over the bottom of the tank.  He'll also go after any other food that happens to make its way to the bottom of the tank, i.e. left over koi food, ( Read more... )
