All right
Day off today (no placement, no classes, no work, w00t). So I slept in, did some social studies reading, finally got my stupid model classroom newsletter finished, no thanks to my Kodak camera and my Apple laptop. Had to actually go buy a SD card reader so I wouldn't have to install EasyShare software. I think my poor computer would have bought it if I had tried to use that software.
Now I'm eating pumpkin cheesecake ice cream and contemplating working on the other photo related assignment due Friday. I also have to write up a journal for seminar tomorrow.
Taking my car in for service tomorrow. The engine indicator light went on a few days ago, and I knew it needed some stuff done anyway (of the crippling transmission, brake fluid, engine filter variety) so I went ahead and made the appointment (absolutely nothing will stop me from driving to Peoria next Thursday). Then, wouldn't you know it, I was on my way to get my card reader and the light went off. Hmm.
In other news, I got my placement for the spring. I'm in a balanced calendar school, which means a two week spring break, and it's 4th grade. I'm excited, though I've reached the point in my current placement where I feel as though I've gained some good out of it. It only took about 12 weeks to get there, wow.
Alright, time to start working on something, so I can see if I need to leave the apartment to even get anything done.
