[The sounds of clashing wood resonated atop the rooftops of the Horton apartment. Over time Fai found these sparring matches, although horribly outclassed, the best way to blow off steam and frustration this city caused him. It was only natural for him to feel these things; he was small and still so new at his powers, but it was hard to sit back and watch people get hurt or killed when he thinks that there may have been some way around it. It makes him restless and his hands twitch for the wooden sword, if just to grip its handle and reassure himself that one day he can become stronger.
Fai shot himself at Kurogane, ignoring the man's height and usually intimidating posture, sword high and ready to strike at anything. He knew that getting used to the wrong patterns of fighting would cost him later, but he was angry. At first he wanted to be angry at Kurogane for cornering his brother. He remembered Yuui's face as he came back into the apartment, how it looked just before he turned to smile at him and hide it under whatever he hides his thoughts with. Although Fai knew it was wrong to assume, he was almost sure what they had talked about and it made him angry.
Fai had been there too! Fai was there during their imprisonment, so why couldn't Kurogane ask him? Why didn't he spare his brother of those painful memories?
Time passed since Yuui came back and Fai realized that it wasn't Kurogane he shouldn't be mad at, but himself. He had made that post, he had told Kurogane-- Half of their story was Yuui's to tell. At first he thought-- foolishly so, that since he had come to terms with those times that there was nothing to hide. He certainly wasn't ashamed of what he had done and so he thought...
He growled and swung at the man, eyes ablaze.]
