[Fai stared at the rose on his pillow as he lay next to it on his bed. He hadn't slept since Yuui had left the apartment, nor had he spoken to anyone either. He didn't trust himself. Soon, minutes become hours, and hours became a day. He might have fallen asleep for a few minutes, but he woke up again soon after. His words still haunted him,

[It had been a strange night for Yuui. After the exchange with Fai, he'd left to think. He couldn't really talk to Kurogane about the situation. Or, he could, but Kurogane hadn't been able to respond truthfully. Fortunately for Yuui, it was much easier to tell in this situation.

The couple had fallen asleep in the apartment they'd been seeking privacy in. They'd woken up to see the roses with the "Use this" message on them. They'd traded roses, and before long, Yuui was headed back to the apartment. Kurogane would be able to sneak by and go in unnoticed. He placed the rose in the belt of his coat, quietly entering the apartment. His first motion was to knock on the door to the room he shared with Fai.]

[A gasp. Fai nearly jumped from his bed to reach the door, but his legs had twisted in the sheets, throwing him to the floor with a soft thud. He gave a moan, but quickly untangled himself and rushed to the door. His hand hesitated over the doorknob, but after a few seconds he opened the door and launched himself at Yuui, already crying again.]

Yuui, I'm so sorry! It was all lies, I swear, I swear! [He sobbed, nearly shouting.]

[Fai's words were almost a relief to Yuui, even though he still believed them to be true. Feeling the weight of the younger blonde hit Yuui's body, he leaned down, hugging Fai tightly.]

Fai... it's okay. [He hesitated. Yuui couldn't bring himself to talk about what had happened in the past, not right now. Not on this day. He closed his eyes for a moment before pulling away to look at Fai with a smile.]

[He shook his head, denying Yuui's words.] No, it isn't okay, Yuui! I hurt you! You believed me...! [He panted, trembling as he looked up at the older twin. He didn't return the smile.]
