[Fai stared at the rose on his pillow as he lay next to it on his bed. He hadn't slept since Yuui had left the apartment, nor had he spoken to anyone either. He didn't trust himself. Soon, minutes become hours, and hours became a day. He might have fallen asleep for a few minutes, but he woke up again soon after. His words still haunted him, causing a few more tears to spill over onto the pillow.
What was Yuui thinking? Did the other really believe him or was it the day's magic that upset everyone's tongues? He closed his eyes and bit his tongue, feeling nothing but self-loathe. Yuui did believe him, he could feel it. It made him sick to think his brother thought of himself as a murderer and thief, even if Fai would never even think of such things to describe his brother.
He lifted a hand to rub at a red eye. He had been crying ever since he had locked himself up in their room. He didn't trust himself with anyone else until he was sure his lying streak was over.
