Hi everyone,
I know this may sound a bit cheeky, but as they say up north, 'A shy bairn gets nowt' [or 'a shy child gets nothing']!
Next month I am running the Race for Life. I haven't done a fundraising run or walk since I was about 7, and don't think I've ran 5 kilometres before, so this is a big challenge for me. I'm running for my grandpa who died of stomach cancer when I was 9, and my mum's best friend who died of breast cancer three years ago. I'm feeling really inspired by the idea of everyone there running together for a common cause and imagine I will probably get a wee bit emotional!
