When he got the invitation in the mail to her wedding, he couldn't quite believe it. Nick and AJ were understandably angry on his behalf, and Howie didn't feel it was his place to interfere. Only Brian understood why he went.
It only seemed right, even if it broke him into a thousand pieces of bottle green glass all over again.
She didn't walk down the aisle to the traditional “Here Comes the Bride”; she'd always hated it.

She wasn't, though; she was marrying him. She went to meet her groom in bare feet and a simple dress. Her veil was very plain, and it only served to accentuate her natural beauty. She took his hands to the fading notes of a slow country song that echoed soft summer days and gentle night breezes.
