[Video opens on...little boy, maybe around eleven or twelve, sitting in the Master's flat if anyone's inclined to recognise it. He's dressed in a black sort of suit thing and he's not very amused at all. When he speaks, it's in extremely proper English, Received Pronunciation. He's trying to seem very important and cross but it's coming across more as petulant.]
I suppose this must be someone's idea of a joke: transporting me to some sort of false residence and leaving me this outdated piece of machinery. Is this you, Theta? It's not funny. I expect it's all a hologram or something of the sort. That's at least sufficiently complex, I can't find the transmitter. This isn't it...I looked, I did.
If this is real and I've been kidnapped...well... [He falters slightly.] Well, you've made a dreadfully bad mistake. I'm a Time Lord. My people won't be very pleased at all. N-not at all. [His bravado is being rather badly exposed as false. He glowers even more to try and hold his haughty expression.] You'll see.
[He pauses to think for a moment.]
Although I shouldn't think a kidnapper would leave his prisoner a communications device. [Angry again.] Oh, this is a joke, isn't it. It's not funny. Stop it at once.
[Very cross indeed, he shuts off the video.]
