This Week in Television:
I love the case-by-case format of the Grimm episodes that have dominated this first season and I hate when a show switches from that to mythology-building (like Supernatural has, as much as I still love elements of that show.) So I'm wary of where this latest storyline involving Adalind is going. That being said, though, I am curious about the Captain so it was good to get a little bit more about his agenda and I'm worried for Wu but I'm also excited about what his final scene in the latest episode suggests is coming next. Also, I enjoy the fact that Juliette's decided to learn how to protect herself instead of bailing on Nick. Being the romantic interest of a lead like Nick often makes a character unpopular in fandom, and from what I've seen of Grimm's fandom, that seems to be the case with Juliette, but I like her well enough and I think she and Nick are adorable together :) I hope future episodes hold good things for them.
And speaking of good things, the guest stars on the show I've watched recently have been so great :) DJ Quales was a lot of fun on Supernatural :) I was so relieved when he made it through the episode alive :p And the vague references to his "lady" suggest that we'll see him again someday! So win-win.
On Psych there was French Stewart last week... (And boy don't I wish we could have seen more of him! He is hilarious in everything, and what a fun, quirky character Whip was!) The week before, we got Blackapella :D I could watch them every week :p The out-take of them dancing with Timothy Omundson is priceless!
Speaking of priceless, Criminal Mind's most recent episode maybe isn't my favorite ever, but what a kick seeing Kyle Gallner on it :) I love him. This was a pretty clever, unbelievably creepy episode - and kudos to casting for avoiding the obvious and peggingg Freddy Kruger as a bad guy in his one guest spot on the show so far :)
