It takes a special kind of irritating to answer someone who has spoken to you, on repeated occasions, without saying anything of any relevance whatsoever to what the other person said

...I think if the right circumstances were arranged, Franziska wouldn't mind having Edgeworth as her partner. You probably know of what I refer to, but yes. Ffff, this game makes me want to ship it too, as well as having them as dysfunctional siblings. There's something wrong with me, right?
...
what did you think about Franziska's speech patterns.
See, every time I consider the pairing, I remember this one moment really early in my RP career where I was reading a thread between two Franziskas. When she was asked who she imagined herself ending up with, she said something like 'Well, I suppose I always assumed it would be Miles Edgeworth.' It's that kind of thing where they both just know that they'll be together eventually, since no-one else could understand the whole von Karma thing properly. Comfort and all that. And no, nothing wrong with you! :D
They seemed alright? I kept an eye out, but I was more pinged by Edgeworth saying things like that he 'spaced out for a second there'.

What do you think of the people who cry 'iiiiiincest', then? I'd be more interested in the pairing from a psychological standpoint than for like...the smut or anything.
Adrian is always welcome around here <3justasticMarch 1 2010, 13:59:12 UTC
Aside from 'they're not actually blood-related :|'? Well, I always assumed them to know and accept that they weren't actually brother and sister, just very very close. Franziska still expects Edgeworth to uphold the von Karma creed and reputation and calls him 'little brother', but it seems more like a small frivolity they allow themselves to express their affection to one another. It's a very blurred line, but I really don't see it as incest at all.
BUT YESSSS INVESTIGAAAAATIONS OH GOD. *Spazzes everywhere* All I have to say is useless commentary and that IT MUST BE FATE IF EMA KEEPS GETTING STUCK WITH KLAVIER. Even though I really would love her to be Edgeworth's assistant because she'd be a better assistant than Kay, but I digress.
LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU GET PAST CASE THREE MAN. I want your thoughts on the beginning. Also, Rhoda is ♥ even though I like Cammy. I managed to avoid spoilers for everyone but a major plot point this time, I was fairly proud of myself!
I watched 5-2 on Youtube 'cause I suck. :B Heck yes, Edgeworth/Rhoda! How is Edgeworth so adorable with nice women, I don't even.
I kind of freaked when Franziska called Edgeworth simply "Miles", with other people around. Probably makes sense in context with the flashback stuff, but still, it made me go "SRSLY?!" and rewind the video.
Pff, he's just...respectful and nice and still that awesome kind of arrogant. Despite the hideous of some of the new characters, they still managed to make his smirk even sexier.
Yeah, Tash picked up on that! Either Franziska's gotten a lot more casual or they really slipped up on her speech patterns.
Yes! And Edgeworth has the weirdest sense of chivalry where he usually doesn't seem to care about gender in the slightest, and then all of a sudden he ~couldn't possibly refuse a lady's gift~, WTF Edgeworth. <3
I figured addressing him as "Miles" might be a jab. No one calls him "Miles" in the whole freaking series. He's Edgeworth. Always. I think I wrote a characterization tl;dr at some point about how Edgeworth's first name is used in 1-4 to specify the helpless nine-year-old in the elevator. So Franziska might be throwing his first name out there casually just to be a bitch. ...Or I'm overthinking it and the translators screwed up. Hard to say. :B
