Let me outshine the moon
Uh...I think I just had a Twilight dream, guys. Except Edward was a giant white gatorthing, Jacob was a smaller crocodile, and Bella was a tiny dragonfly who constantly had things trying to eat her, but her bodyguards in the other two kept beating the shit out of whatever tried to do it. Also none of them were annoying and stupid.
Anyway! Portal. I finally got around to getting The Orange Box other day (and finished it last night), and I'm sure everyone already knows about it, so I'll just say that it definitely lived up to the hype. Good game is good. bawww no Xbox Live for TF2, though, give me my single player I am a hermit
I think it triggered the occasional paranoia I get when I'm alone at night, though. I kept thinking of GLaDos.
And I saw The Princess and the Frog! Unff, that musiiiiic. That old Disney art style. The love story hurried on a bit too quickly for my tastes - 'I HATE YOU -> I HATE YOU -> you're not so bad actually -> I LOVE YOU LET'S GET MARRIED' is not how it works guys - and it could have used, like, twenty minutes extra development and a few less NAVEEN IS IN DANGER OH NOES moments, but overall? Yes. Very good movie.
...I may have teared up a little bit right at the end. Shut up.
I think I'm kinda over SMTDR, though. I love some of the people, but after I hit that awful mood and caused wank - and I still have serious issue with certain characters, but that's just me being picky - I'm really not wanting to post there at all anymore. Time to move on, I suppose!
