Confidence is a good thing. Cockiness is not. And those people really need to be bitchslapped.

It's a good thing I can't literally travel through the internet. So many more people would get bitchslapped if I could...

While we're waiting for the technology to slap people up the head over the internet to be invented, just keep on beating them and they'll learn humility. Someday. Hopefully. I mean, if they're not learning humility at home, they might as well learn it on the internets, right...?
