Ahaha. Man, SNES platformers were hard. I really hope more stuff like Mega Man 9 starts coming out -- downloadable old-school style games. It'd be neat to revive the genre of the super-hard 2D platformer that you really feel accomplished beating <3

Also, Wild West AU sounds awesome. I'd read it!

That would be nice, though I don't think they'd be well-received by the gamers who started with PS2s and such. My nieces are 8 and 6 years old, and whenever they hit a tricky part - basically anything they can't figure out immediately - they just hand the controller over to me and tell me to do it. I'm like, "Man, when I was your age, we just knuckled down and tried again!"
Even worse because these games really are easy. Fun, but easy.

Awesome. I'm not sure how I'd fit Nick et al in there, if at all, but I do love the thought of sexy cowgirl Lana general concept!
