I am sick.  I have officially caught a cold.  Stupid girl at work.  It's all her fault.  I'm not contagious my ass.  My cold came from her.  I'm just crossing my fingers that I'll be okay tomorrow.  My hubby and I are planning to drive to Portland to go shopping.  Let's hope that I'm feeling better tomorrow.

 I had my monthly doc's visit yesterday.  It was one of the shortest ones I've ever had.  Everything was normal.  Although when my doctor measured me she said that I was only 22 weeks but I looked like I'm about 24.  So either I'm pretty chunky or this is going to be one big baby.

Today I got my very first ultrasound done.  Was a bit of fuss really.  I didn't realize I had to drink a litre of water beforehand.  They called my name and I went up to the counter and the receptionist asked if I had drank water before I came.  I said I had some tea but then she told me that I was supposed to drink a litre of water.  I had no clue ( Read more... )

Yesterday I went to my monthly doctor's appointment and finally got to hear my little tiny baby's heartbeat.  It was so cool!  The only thing I could think of was, "wow, it sounds exactly like it does in the movies!"  LOL!  But the most awesome thing happened after.  As my doctor and I were talking, I felt the baby move for the first time!!!  OMG ( Read more... )

 J is a dickhead.  He's stubborn and he sucks.  He makes me mad enough to want to kick him in the nuts.

So yesterday I had my second doctor's visit for my little spud.  Got 4 vials of blood taken (ouch!) and a gyno exam  (good times!).  I totally forgot how much I hated getting these 2 things done.  I have very sensitive veins and they tend to recede every time a needle comes anywhere near them so the doctor had to get the sample from a vein that sat ( Read more... )
