After the odd discussion with Jenny and Louis at Pizza Planet earlier, Chris and Wyatt were suspicious.

Which is why they had asked Jenny and Louis to meet them in the Preserve. And it's also why they had Bridge with them when they arrived.

Chris had spent most of the day debating about whether or not to call Piper and wish her a happy birthday.

He finally did and, after he hung up, he sat staring out the window for a while.

It was the first time in his life he had ever wished his mother a happy birthday.
