Update
It's been awhile since I updated my journal, so I'm way overdue. It's a new year and frankly I'm glad that the crappy year known as '2005'is over and done with.
Back in October I threw my back out really bad when I was picking something up from my desk. I barely bent over, but ended up totally fucking up my back and being out of work for a month. Luckily my vacation time from my work had just refreshed itself, so I was able to use my vacation time to keep myself from being kicked out of my apartment for not being able to pay rent. Too bad it also means I won't be able to get any vacation time until next September.
That's assuming I still have my job next September. Right about when I got back to work in Novemeber the company owners informed us that they sold the business to a Canadian corporation by the name of UniSelect. So far it's looking like they mean to keep the employees, but the lack of information we've been receiving about our future isn't exactly getting my confidence up. The building is a total dumb and is leaking water from the roof constantly, and I'm surprised the trucks are still running since they've got so much mileage and hard use on them. The truck I have right now is so gross/run-down that when I looked in it's glove compartment I found a bunch of mouse shit! The tape player is also completely non-functional, totally removing all hopes of listening to good music while I drive. Which is pretty much the sole reason why I've been able to stick with this job for six years in the first place.
Other than that things are going ok I guess. I like my new apartment very much, and the close proximity to work has been saving me shitloads of gas money. Enough to be able to afford buying silly things like a Game Boy Advance.
Am also thinking about starting to attend more local kink munches. I've been spending way too many weekends at home playing World of Warcraft and I wouldn't mind acquiring one of these so-called 'social lives' I hear so much about. That and I really NEED to be dominated soon or I think I'll scream, or perhaps explode. One never knows with these things.
