Today I stumbled across my entry for the 2007 Life on Mars Ficathon. I'd almost forgotten writing it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I re-read it. Not bad, if I do say so myself - it's an AU where Sam winds up in 1941 instead of 1973.

Episode 1:12 of US Life on Mars this week, and it was their version of 2:02, the Tony Crane plot. Which - without giving away the plot of either version - brings me to what is different between the US and UK versions of this series. Great Galloping Gene Hunts! I've seen an episode of American LOM ("Tuesday's Dead") which is superior to the British original (1:06).

Of course 1:06 was the worst episode of the first series.

I see from tonight's TV program that Channel Ten will be showing American LOM's version of the hostage episode. I wonder how it will turn out.

You know, I've never been able to slash Sam/Gene in the sexual sense - somehow I can't see them trysting in Sam's flat, or bumping the uglies in the back seat of the Cortina.
