kitty wants attention
head-butting noisy furry love purr
no computer4u - ,my tail says no.

monitor obscured,
fuzzy black pacing
no time for elseward thoughts, I guess I'll sleep.

snow melt

crunch, crunch
fortresses of ice crystals
crumble,
under my uncaring worn boots
demolition is hastened

grass beneath
struggles to return,
drinking-in the soft destruction

they're building
a new building, to look old;
100 years old
encrusted in snow, an exoskeleton
wrapped in papers
with false chimneys and entablature
