heh. This cat has adopted the game shop: she wandered in, determined it's acceptable, befriended the owner & his cohorts & now has settled in, complete with digs, including a cat scratching post.

Her name is Apple B.A.

I've heard of Library Cats; Apple is obviously next generation. :)

I had a calendar in college where every day was a different photo of a "shop cat" - a cat that lived in a business. so - that was what, 365+ examples? But I had that calendar like, a decade ago. And, I didn't adopt Apple: honestly she wandered into the shop & angelo & Pbau were there to say they'd take care of the requisites (i.e. litter changes, food purchase, cat stand, water filled, etc)

So- she did rather choose the shop. Plus, they said she was starved & had beeen on the street for "what looked like at least a few days"
and, the business is on a busy street (Penn & 66th intersection) no where a cat should just be wandering around looking for food etc.

She's actually been at the shop a couple/few weeks now. I gave her time to settle before telling the kids there was a new cat to meet at the shop. ;)

yah, she's acting like a cat who really appreciates a warm home & steady food - and she doesn't mind all the boys who want to rub her tummy: heh.
