Need some help here...

Okay, so I inherited this beautiful picture of a Victorian-style poster in a frame from my great-grandmother. It hung in her house for as long as I could remember, and when she died in March I was able to pick it up this summer from my grandmother. Hmm, I wish I had some advice, but I know absolutely nothing about framing things. I think it sounds like you might have to get a new frame, though; if the one you have is bowed, I really don't know if there's anything you can do about that. Sorry!

That's what I was afraid of.:( My grandma is upset about it, she says many people that visited my great-grandmother wanted to buy that frame for a lot of money. She saved it for me all these years.

=( That's so disappointing! I did some searching, and I came up with nothing on how to fix a warped picture frame. The guy at the glass shop didn't have any suggestions? I wonder if someone at a custom-framing shop might have some ideas?

I would see someone who restores antiques to deal with the frame issue.
What is it made of?
