Sooo....Last Wednesday, after the update, I had it out with Alena. Oh well.
Thursday I saw Clayton...learned that he was in fact trying to call and talk things out with me, but Alena never told me, so I had it out with Alena again...I got my tragus jewelry changed to tiny barbells instead of tiny hoops, so now my ears look less cluttered. Pretty nice.
Friday I went to work, then went home. On the way, I went to get my lip ring taken care of and got to keep both my smaller lip ring and the bigger one, without paying more, because the guy that had worked out my trading deal quit. Score. So I went to see Dave for about the fifth time that week so he could change it out for me. It fits way better no longer hurts. Once I got home, I went to get Erin and eat with my family when the *brand new* tire on the Sable blew out. Suckage. Yeah, you heard me. We got that taken care of, then ate some food, then went home. I did homework. Woo.
Saturday, Erin and I went to the Flea Market with Rob and Lambchop. Fun times. I took a lot of pictures, spent too much money, and ran into Paul and Jen. Excitingly enough, his new girlfriend-or-whatever is someone that I liked, but never got to talk to outside the club. Neato. I also saw Buddhist Monks! After that, everyone went home and I ate with my family. Then I did homework. Surprised?
Sunday I got up and did homework, then I went to eat with my family. I went back to school and decided to take some time to relax, so Josh and I just watched crap on the computer. Weird thing: Alena acted like nothing happened. What?
Monday I found out that my Film Developing Tank had been stolen, so I had to use a steel reel...I ended up ruining my film. Awesome. So I was forced to start the project all over! Oh well. At least I had time to work on other homework.
Tuesday I went to class, then did some homework...too bad one of the papers I'd written was inadvertently deleted. Yay. I got to do it over again!
Wednesday I went to class, did about half of a paper, then had to go to a mediation with my RA. Yeah. Apparently, Alena can't talk to ME about problems, but she can talk to someone else while I listen. Lame? Yes. After an hour and a half, I had repeated myself probably 5 times and we really didn't get anywhere. We decided that we will be ok living together on a business-type level for the rest of the semester, as we are obviously NOT rooming together next semester, but that the friendship is on ice at best. Personally, I no longer care. Yes, I am pretty harsh on her sometimes, but she really needs someone to help her out and care for her. I've tried to do a lot for her, and if she does not appreciate that then she's not worth the effort anymore. I can get along with her on a very shallow level, but as of now, I'm almost relieved that our friendship is pretty much over. Harsh, cold, mean, terrible...I agree. Oh well. Of course I care on some level, but I will no longer care *deeply.* How's that? If she wants to come to me later and she's actually done something to improve her situation, I'll give our friendship a chance. Until then, I have other things to worry about and I will no longer invest my emotions in her as a friend. Anyway...after that, I tried to work on my paper some, but my laptop refused to turn on. Super. That's the third day in a row that something retarded happened to set back all of my homework progress. I worked around it and handwrote the second half of my paper, hoping that my laptop would work later and I could just type what I'd already written. Then I went to bed.
Thursday I went to class, then I went home early since we didn't have classes on Friday. I met up with Josh, Michael, Shana, Erin, Rob, Paul, and Jen at the club. We had a lot of fun, I think. I got Joey to play my Juno Reactor cd. I might make him a copy. I really enjoyed hearing it there. Chason, by the way, is really stupid when he's drunk. Just a side note...So...later everyone went home, except Josh, since he went to my house.
Friday I went to the Gateway store with Dadoo. Yeah, lucky us, it was the LAST DAY the store was open. Weird. We didn't actually have any work done on the computer, but the battery just kinda started working again. I don't trust this laptop now. As soon as I got home, I finished that paper from Wednesday, then I backed up everything except music and videos onto a CD, in case something else happens. I did some more homework and then somehow Erin came over. All of us went to eat with my family at this weird place way out in the middle of nowhere. It was ok, but not really super. Then we went back to my house. Josh went to get Michael, then Rob came over after work. We all watched TV with Momma while I did some homework. Erin and Rob left, then we all went to sleep.
Saturday, Erin and Rob brought us all Chik-fil-a. That was really nice. We all hung around, then Erin, Rob and Josh all went home, then Michael and I took the MR2 to go take pictures. I never mentioned it, but Momma got the battery replaced and the parking brake fixed, then Dadoo got it inspected. Now it's perfectly legal and in perfect mechanical order, but still needs body work. I took a few pictures at Michael's house...talked to Anthony for a while...that was sad...then went home to eat with my family. After that, I did a bunch of homework and went to bed.
And here we are on Sunday. I had really wanted to go to Jacksonville with my parents, but I was afraid I wouldn't have time to finish my work. I was correct, but I'm disappointed anyway. I did some homework, then went to eat with Erin and Rob after making some complaints about how some things (Matty) are handled at my house. It makes me sad. Oh well. After food, I finished some homework and came to Greenville. I developed my two *new* rolls of film with a tank I *borrowed* from someone and it came out ok. I actually put up some guilt flyers, pleading for whoever stole my tank to bring it back...strangly, part of a tank has appeared where I asked the thief to return my tank. I wonder if it is mine. We'll see how that works out.
I'm really glad I've gotten so much work done. It's nice. Hopefully, I'll have it all done before David gets back. Too bad I don't know when he's actually coming home anymore. Argh. It'll be in the next two weeks though. I'm sure of it.
I think I need to sleep now. Bleh.
